Exhaust Manifold - RH:

Removal
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.
2. Remove the exhaust flange nuts.
3. Remove the bolts, stud bolts, exhaust manifold and gasket.
^ Discard the bolts, stud bolts and exhaust manifold gasket.
4. Clean and inspect the exhaust manifold.

Installation

1. NOTEInstall a new exhaust manifold gasket, bolts and stud bolts.

Install the exhaust manifold gasket, exhaust manifold, bolts and stud bolts.
^ Tighten in the sequence shown in 2 stages.
^ Stage 1: Tighten to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs).
^ Stage 2: Tighten to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs).





2. Install the exhaust flange nuts.
