Test A: The Headlamps Are Inoperative (Low And High Beams)

PINPOINT TEST A: THE HEADLAMPS ARE INOPERATIVE (LOW AND HIGH BEAMS)

Normal Operation
The headlamp switch receives voltage from the battery junction box (BJB) fuse 15 (30A) through circuit 196 (DB/OG). When the headlamp switch is placed in the HEADLAMPS ON position, voltage is routed to the multifunction switch through circuit 15 (RD/YE). The multifunction switch then routes the voltage through the central junction box (CJB) to the headlamps (for both low and high beams). The headlamps are provided ground through circuit 57 (BK).

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Fuse
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Headlamp switch
- Multifunction switch
