Normal Operation
The ABS module receives brake pedal position (BPP) switch information from the PCM over the high-speed controller area network (HS-CAN) bus.
^ DTC C1446 Brake Switch Circuit Failure - If the ABS module does not receive the BPP switch information from the PCM or if the information received does not agree with other sensor inputs, DTC C1446 will be set.
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
^ Wiring, terminals or connectors
^ BPP switch
^ ABS module
