PINPOINT TEST AF: DTC B2844 - IGNITION FAULT

Normal Operation
DTC B2844 is a continuous memory DTC that sets in the instrument cluster (IC) if the instrument cluster (IC) senses voltage on the START/RUN input circuit CBP29 (WH/VT) without an interrupt between ignition switch positions or if ignition START or RUN is sensed without a key-in-ignition message from the smart junction box (SJB).

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Ignition switch
- Instrument cluster (IC)
