EVAPORATIVE EMISSION CANISTER VENT SOLENOID







Removal and Installation
1. Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister assembly.
2. Disconnect the fuel vapor tube from the EVAP canister vent solenoid.
3. Remove the EVAP canister vent solenoid from the EVAP canister carbon canister.
- Apply clean oil to the EVAP canister vent solenoid O-ring seal prior to installation.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Carry out the evaporative emission system leak test. Testing and Inspection
- Carry out the evaporative emission repair verification drive cycle.
