Removal and Installation
1. Remove the hood latch.
2. Disconnect the 3 hood latch release handle cable guides.
- Note the routing of the hood latch release cable.

3. Remove the hood latch release handle bolt.
- To install, tighten to 11 Nm (89 lb-ft).







4. NOTE: The hood latch release handle and cable assembly must be pulled through the cowl panel into the passenger compartment.

Remove the hood latch release handle and cable assembly.
- Pull the hood latch release cable through the cowl panel.







5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
