Test K: The Rear Video Mirror Display Is Always On

PINPOINT TEST K: THE REAR VIDEO MIRROR DISPLAY IS ALWAYS ON

Normal Operation
With the ignition switch in the RUN position, the video camera receives voltage through circuit CLS10 (GN/BN) (Navigator) or (TN) (Expedition). With the gear selector in REVERSE (R) position, a reverse voltage signal is sent to the interior rear view mirror suppling power to the display in the mirror. The video camera signal is sent to the interior rear view mirror. The video signal from the video camera displays an image on the left portion of the interior rear view mirror.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Interior rear view mirror
