Removal and Installation

NOTE:
- If equipped with power folding mirrors, they must be synchronized any time the mirrors have been folded or unfolded without using the mirror control switch. For additional information, refer to Exterior Mirror Motor Synchronization - Power Folding. Programming and Relearning
- Do not remove the exterior mirror assembly when repairing an individual part. Individual components can be installed without removing the exterior mirror.

1. Remove the front door trim panel.
2. Position aside the weather shield.
3. Disconnect the exterior mirror electrical connector.
4. Remove the exterior mirror.
- Remove the nuts.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Install top nut first.
