Test D: The Memory Mirror Is Inoperative

PINPOINT TEST D: THE MEMORY MIRROR IS INOPERATIVE

Normal Operation
Under normal operation, the exterior mirror control switch receives power from circuit SBP12 (GN/RD) and ground from circuit GD133 (BK). The exterior mirror control switch sends input to the driver seat module (DSM) for the LH exterior mirror by switching power and ground to circuits CPM15 (VT/OG), CPM14 (GY/BN) and CPM23 (GY) and for the RH exterior mirror by switching power and ground to circuits CPM19 (GY/OG), CPM18 (GN/BN) and CPM23 (GY). The DSM will send the appropriate power and ground to the LH exterior mirror motor up/down circuits CPM29 (GN), CPM26 (WH) and left/right circuits CPM28 (BU/BN), CPM27 (GY/BU) or the RH exterior mirror motor up/down circuits CPM34 (WH/BN), CPM31 (YE/GY) and left/right circuits CPM32 (WHZBU), CPM33 (WH/VT).

The DSM supplies the LH and RH exterior mirror feedback potentiometer reference voltage through circuit LPP06 (YE/BU) and ground through circuit RPP06 (GN). The DSM receives feedback from the LH exterior mirror feedback potentiometer through up/down circuit VPM35 (YE/BU) and left/right circuit VPM36 (BN/YE). The DSM receives feedback from the RH exterior mirror feedback potentiometer through up/down circuit VPM37 (BU/OG) and left/right circuit VPM38 (BN/GN).
