Test R: The Power Seat Is Inoperative - Third Row Power-Fold, Left And Right Seats
PINPOINT TEST R: THE POWER SEAT IS INOPERATIVE - THIRD ROW POWER-FOLD, LEFT AND RIGHT SEATSNormal Operation
Voltage is supplied to the power-fold seat relay coils controlled from the smart junction box (SJB) through circuit CPS48 (BU) enabling the system. Ground is supplied to the power-fold seat relay coils and both left and right seat control switches on circuit GD151 (BK/GN). The power fold seat relays will be provided voltage on the coil side from the SJB for 10 minutes when the transmission selector is in PARK and the liftgate, or liftgate glass, is open. The relays will be de-energized 10 minutes after turning the vehicle off. If the voltage is disabled after 10 minutes, it can be re-enabled by opening any door or pressing the unlock key on the key fob.
- DTC B2794 Third Row Power Fold Circuit Failure - If SJB output to the left or right third row folding seat relay is open or shorted to voltage, the SJB sets this code.
- DTC B2A2D Third Row Power Fold Circuit Short To Ground - If SJB output to the left or right third row folding seat relay is shorted to ground, the SJB sets this DTC.
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Fuse
- Auxiliary relay box third row power-fold seat relay(s)
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- SJB
