PINPOINT TEST G: THE AIR INLET DOOR IS INOPERATIVENormal Operation
Under normal operation, the air inlet door actuator motors are supplied voltage or ground on circuit CH202 (BU/GN), depending on desired actuator rotation, by the electronic manual temperature control (EMTC) module or HVAC module - dual automatic temperature control (DATC). The HVAC module - EMTC or HVAC module - DATC then supplies the appropriate voltage or ground to the other side of the actuator motor on circuit CH203 (GN/BN).
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Air inlet door actuator
- HVAC module - DATC
- HVAC module - EMTC
- Stuck or bound linkage or door
