Ambient Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Service and Repair

AMBIENT AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR







Removal and Installation

Mountaineer
1. Remove the radiator grille. Service and Repair
2. Remove the pin-type retainers and position the air deflector forward.







3. Remove the 2 air deflector pin-type retainers and detach the air deflector from the 2 locator pins on the radiator support.

All vehicles
4. Detach the ambient air temperature sensor electrical connector.
5. Remove the ambient air temperature sensor.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
