Pressure Test - PC C
Pressure Test - PC CThis test verifies that PC C is functioning correctly within specifications.
1. If not previously connected, install the scan tool.
2. Connect the pressure gauge to the PC C pressure tap.
3. Using the diagnostic scan tool, monitor the PC C PID and note the commanded pressure.
4. Start the engine and check the PC C pressure. If gauge reading does not match within ± 15 psi of PID value displayed for PC C, GO to Pinpoint Test D to diagnose PC C operation. If PC C operation is OK, refer to Line Pressure Diagnosis Chart for line pressure concern causes. Test D: Pressure Control (PC) Solenoids (PCA, PCB, PCC) [1][2]Automatic Transmission/Transaxle
5. When pressure tests are completed, install the pressure tap plugs.
^ Tighten to 13 Nm (10 lb-ft).
