Test D: One Or More Module-Controlled Illumination Source(s) Is Inoperative - All Hardwired Illumination

PINPOINT TEST D: ONE OR MORE MODULE-CONTROLLED ILLUMINATION SOURCE(S) IS INOPERATIVE - ALL HARDWIRED ILLUMINATION

Normal Operation
The smart junction box (SJB) sends a pulse-width modulated (PWM) voltage to the dimmable components through circuits CLN04 (BU/BN). Ground for the illumination source is supplied through circuits GD138 (BK/WH), GD133 (BK), GD151 (BK/GN) and GD145 (BK/BU). The SJB also controls the accessory delay relay. The accessory delay relay sends a set voltage to the LH and RH front door lock switches through circuit CBP05 (YE). The LH door lock switch is grounded through circuit GD133 (BK). The RH door lock switch is grounded through circuit GD148 (BK/GN).

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Four-wheel drive switch
- Memory set switch (if equipped)
- Heating ventilation air conditioning (HVAC) module (if equipped)
- Heated seat/windshield switch (if equipped)
- Manual climate control switch (if equipped)
- Adjustable pedal switch (if equipped)
- Message center (if equipped)
- Traction control switch (if equipped)
- Headlamp switch
- Shifter assembly
- LH door lock control switch
- RH door lock control switch
- Roof opening panel switch (Sport Trac only)
- Rear window adjust switch (Sport Trac only)
