PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) TRANSCEIVER







Removal and Installation
1. Remove the steering wheel.
2. Remove the 2 bolts and the lower steering column shroud.

3. NOTE: Vehicles with a steering column shift are shown; the floor console shift is similar.

Remove the ignition lock cylinder cover.

4. Disconnect the passive anti-theft system (PATS) transceiver electrical connector.
5. Remove the screw and the PATS transceiver.

6. NOTE: Replacement of the PATS transceiver does not require the PATS keys to be programmed into the PCM again.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
