Test J: The Rear Video Is Inoperative
PINPOINT TEST J: THE REAR VIDEO IS INOPERATIVENormal Operation
With the ignition switch in the RUN position, the video camera receives voltage through circuit 294 (WH/LB). With the gear selector in REVERSE (R) position, a reverse voltage signal is sent to the interior rear view mirror, enabling the system. The video signal from the video camera displays an image on the left portion of the interior rear view mirror.
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Video camera
- Interior rear view mirror
