Test B: All Door Locks Are Inoperative
PINPOINT TEST B: ALL DOOR LOCKS ARE INOPERATIVENormal Operation
When the vehicle security module (VSM) receives a lock request from the door lock control switch, the VSM provides voltage to the door lock actuators through circuit 117 (PK/BK). Ground for the LH front door actuator is provided through circuit 163 (RD/OG) and ground for the remaining door lock actuators is provided through circuit 118 (PK/OG). When the VSM receives an unlock request, voltage and ground are reversed on the previously listed circuits.
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Fuse
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Central junction box (CJB)
- VSM
