Test V: Both Reversing Lamps Are Inoperative

PINPOINT TEST V: BOTH REVERSING LAMPS ARE INOPERATIVE

Normal Operation
Switched voltage is normally provided to the digital transmission range (TR) sensor (automatic transmission) or to the reversing lamp switch (manual transmission) through circuit 295 (LB/PK). When the transmission is placed in REVERSE (R), the digital TR sensor or reversing lamp switch routes voltage through circuit 1043 (DG/YE) to the reversing lamps.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Fuse
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Reversing lamp switch (manual transmission)
- Digital TR sensor (automatic transmission)
- CJB
