The fuel injector are separately controlled and are mounted to the intake manifold and are supplied pressurized fuel through the fuel rail. The fuel rail is supplied from the fuel pump module which is enabled by the fuel pump driver module through the PCM. The fuel rail has a fuel pressure sensor which controls the pressure going to the fuel injectors. The fuel system is and electronic returnless fuel system. The fuel system has an IFS switch, which shuts off the fuel by interrupting power to the fuel pump driver module in the event of a collision.
