Operation CHARM: Car repair manuals for everyone.

Test A: Both Headlamps Are Inoperative (Low and High Beam)

PINPOINT TEST A: BOTH HEADLAMPS ARE INOPERATIVE (LOW AND HIGH BEAM)

Normal Operation
Battery voltage is supplied to the headlamp switch through circuit 196 (DB/OG). When the headlamp switch is placed in the HEADLAMPS ON position, voltage is routed to circuit 15 (RD/YE) which supplies voltage to the multifunction switch. The multifunction switch then directs the voltage to the low beam headlamps or the high beam relay through the central junction box (CJB).

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Fuse
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Headlamp switch
- Multifunction switch
- CJB
