Bench Seat

SEAT BACKREST - REAR, CREW CAB, BENCH SEAT







Disassembly and Assembly
1. Remove the rear seat.
2. Remove the seat backrest.
3. Remove the RH and LH latch handle clips and latch handles.
4. Release the J-clip and invert the backrest trim cover up to the row of hog rings.







5. Remove the backrest trim cover.
- Remove the hog rings.
- Invert the backrest trim cover and remove it.

6. Remove the backrest foam pad from the backrest frame assembly.

7. NOTE: LH shown, RH similar.

Remove the latch covers.







8. Remove the LH latch-to-backrest frame bolts.
- To install, tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).

9. Remove the LH latch from the latch torque shaft.
10. Remove the latch torque shaft from the RH latch and the clips.
- Remove the latch torque shaft clips from the backrest frame.

11. Remove the RH latch-to-backrest frame bolts and the RH latch.
- To install, tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).

12. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
