20 Percent
SEAT - FRONT, 20 PERCENTRemoval
NOTE: New bolts must be installed, do not reuse the bolts that were removed.
All vehicles
1. Remove the front seats.
Regular cab vehicles
2. Using an appropriate tool, slide the release tab forward in the slot while pulling the safety belt tongue out of the safety belt buckle.
All vehicles
3. Remove and discard the 20 percent seat riser-to-floor RH rear bolt.
4. Remove the 20 percent seat riser-to-floor LH rear nut.
5. Remove the seat.
Installation
All vehicles
1. Position the seat.
2. Position the safety belt anchor. Install the 20 percent seat riser-to-floor LH rear nut.
- Make sure the safety belt is not twisted prior to installation.
- Tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
3. Install the new 20 percent seat riser-to-floor RH rear bolt.
- Tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
4. Install the front seats.
Regular cab vehicles
5. Attach the center safety belt retractor tongue into the safety belt buckle.
- When inserting the safety belt tongue into the safety belt buckle, make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted.
All vehicles
6. Make sure the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants after installation.
