Test D: No Power in START

Pinpoint Test D: No Power in START
Refer to Vehicle/Diagrams, Power Distribution/SJB for schematic and connector information.

Normal Operation
When the ignition switch is placed in START, fused ignition voltage is sent to the following:
^ Smart junction box (SJB) C2280e-8, circuit CDC35 (BU/WH) (diesel engine vehicles only)
^ PCM C175t-44, circuit CDC35 (BU/WH) (gasoline engine vehicles only)
^ SJB C2208b-45 along circuit CDC34 (WH/OG) (all vehicles)
^ Pin 1 of the run/start relay in the battery junction box (BJB) along circuit CDC34 (WH/OG) (all vehicles)

Fused battery voltage is provided to pin 3 of the run/start relay from BJB fuse 46 (40A) and to pin 3 of the starter motor relay from BJB fuse 40 (30A).

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
^ Fuse(s)
^ Wiring, terminals or connectors
