Variable Induction Control Actuator: Service and Repair

INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER CONTROL (IMRC) ACTUATOR







Removal and Installation
1. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.
2. Disconnect the intake manifold runner control (IMRC) actuator electrical connector.
3. Remove the 3 bolts.
- To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).

4. Disconnect the IMRC rod pivot pin from the intake manifold rod and remove the IMRC.
- Lubricate the IMRC rod pivot pin with clean engine oil prior to installation.

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
