Test C: The Door Locks Operate Only One Way

PINPOINT TEST C: THE DOOR LOCKS OPERATE ONLY ONE WAY

Normal Operation
The SJB sends voltage signals to the door lock control switches through circuits 1296 (OG/BK) and 1316 (WH/VT) for the lock requests, and through circuits 1297 (YE/RD) and 1317 (DB/LG) for the unlock requests. The door lock control switches receive ground through circuit 1205 (BK). When the lock or unlock switch is pressed, the voltage signal is routed to ground.

The SJB contains internal relays that are energized depending on input received. When the SJB receives a lock or unlock request from the door lock control switch, the SJB energizes the appropriate relay(s) to lock or unlock the doors.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Door lock control switch
- SJB
