Removal and Installation
1. Remove the door trim panel.
2. Remove the watershield.
3. Support the window glass.
4. If equipped, disconnect the power window motor electrical connector.
5. Remove the top and bottom center door glass run retainer nuts.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).







6. NOTE:
- To remove the rivets, use a drift punch to remove the steel centers and a 6.35 mm (1/4 in) diameter drill bit to remove the rivets.
- The power window regulator has 4 rivets; the manual has 3.

Remove the window regulator rivets.
- Remove the steel centers and rivets.

7. Remove the window regulator.







8. WARNING: When removing the window regulator motor, place the window in the full upward position or block the window regulator arm to help prevent the counterbalance spring from unwinding with high force. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

If necessary, remove the window glass motor.
- Remove the bolts.
- To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).

9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Use a heavy duty riveter to install the new rivets.
