IDLE AIR CONTROL (IAC) VALVE

Idle Air Control Valve:

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the bolts and the throttle body (TB) cover.
- To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).

2. Disconnect the idle air control (IAC) valve electrical connector.
3. Remove the 2 bolts, the IAC valve and discard the gasket.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

4. NOTE: Install a new IAC valve gasket.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
