Removal and Installation

1. NOTE: The transmission selector lever bezel is held in place by 4 tabs that are located in the shifter assembly.

Remove the transmission selector lever bezel.

2. Open the floor console compartment door and pull the floor console finish panel straight up to release the retainer clips and remove the finish panel.

3. Remove the 2 pin-type retainers and the storage compartment assembly.

All vehicles

4. Pull the instrument panel center finish panel straight out to release the retainer clips and remove the instrument panel center finish panel.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.

5. Press the 4 retaining tabs and remove the message center switch.

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
