Trunk / Liftgate Position Sensor: Service and Repair
Pinch Strip SwitchRemoval and InstallationNOTE: Left side shown, right side similar.
1.
Remove the liftgate trim panel.
2.
Disconnect the pinch strip electrical connector.
3.
Remove the pinch strip.

Remove the pin-type retainers.
-
Remove the grommet and route the harness out of the vehicle.
4.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
