Radiator Grille Support

Removal and Installation









1. Remove the 2 headlamp assemblies.

2. Remove the lower front bumper.

3. Remove the front bumper.

4. Remove the front impact severity sensor. For additional information, refer to Air Bag Systems.

5. Detach the LH and RH front impact severity sensor and ambient air sensor wire harness retainers and position aside.

6. Remove the hood latch bolts and position aside the hood latch.
- To install, tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb-in).

7. NOTE: RH shown, LH similar.

Lift and release the tabs from the radiator support and position the radiator towards the engine.





8. Remove the 2 bolts and the 2 transmission fluid cooler support brackets.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

9. NOTE: The pin-type retainers are on the back side of the latch mounting bracket.

Remove the 2 transmission cooler tube pin-type retainers.





10. Remove the Air Cleaner (ACL) bracket bolt.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).





11. Remove the hood latch cable retainer.





12. NOTE: The wire harness is attached to the back side of the radiator support.

Detach the 2 wiring harness retainers and position the harness aside.

13. Remove the compressor-to-condenser discharge line bracket bolt.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).





14. NOTE: Using a suitable support rod, support the hood.

Remove the radiator grille support.

- Remove the 2 radiator grille support-to-body bolts.

- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

15. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
