Pinpoint Test N: One Turn Signal/Hazard Lamp Is Inoperative/Always On
Refer to Wiring Diagram Set 90 (Escape/Mariner, Escape Hybrid/Mariner Hybrid), Turn Signal/Stop/Hazard Lamps for schematic and connector information. Diagrams By Number
Normal Operation - Early Build
When the Smart Junction Box (SJB) detects the multifunction switch in the LH TURN position, the SJB provides voltage through circuit CLS21 (BU/GN) to the LH front turn lamp (and the side turn lamp for Mariner). When the SJB detects the multifunction switch in the RH TURN position, the SJB provides voltage through circuit CLS25 (YE/VT) to the RH front turn lamp (and the side turn lamp for Mariner). Circuit GD120 (BK/GN) provides ground. The rear turn lamps are controlled utilizing the rear stoplamp circuitry.
Late Build
When the Smart Junction Box (SJB) detects the multifunction switch in the LH TURN position, the SJB provides voltage to the LH front turn lamp through circuit CLS21 (BU/GN) and the LH side turn lamp (Mariner) through circuit CLS13 (YE/BU) . When the SJB detects the multifunction switch in the RH TURN position, the SJB provides voltage to the RH front turn lamp through circuit CLS25 (YE/VT) and the RH side turn lamp (Mariner) through circuit CLS14 (BU/OG). Circuit GD120 (BK/GN) provides ground. The rear turn lamps are controlled utilizing the rear stoplamp circuitry.
