TP1 CHECK FOR CORRECT TRACTION MOTOR RPM DURING THE ROAD TEST

Note: Refer to the table at the beginning of this pinpoint test for correct traction motor to vehicle speed correlations.

- Clear the TCM DTCs.
- Access the TCM and monitor the M_SPEED PID.
- Access the TCM and monitor the VSS PID.
- Road test the vehicle.
- Record traction motor RPM at different vehicle speeds.

Does the traction motor RPM correspond with the vehicle speed?

YES
GO to TP2.

NO
INSTALL a new transaxle assembly. REFER to Automatic Transaxle/Transmission.

TP2 CHECK FOR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTC)

Is DTC P0C2F present?

YES
GO to Pinpoint Test DP DP - Introduction.

NO
Unable to duplicate or identify the concern at this time.

RETURN to Symptom Charts, Symptom Charts to continue diagnosis.
