Pressure Test - PCC

This test verifies that PCC is functioning correctly within specifications.










1. If not previously connected, install the scan tool.

2. Connect the Transmission Fluid Pressure Gauge to the PCC pressure tap.

3. Using the scan tool, monitor the PCC PID and note the commanded pressure.

4. Start the engine and check the PCC pressure. If the Transmission Fluid Pressure Gauge reading does not match within ± 15 psi of PID value displayed for PCC, Go To Pinpoint Test D to diagnose PCC operation. If PCC operation is OK, refer to Line Pressure Diagnosis Chart for line pressure concern causes. Pinpoint Test D: Pressure Control Solenoids (PCA, PCB, PCC)

5. When pressure tests are completed, install the pressure tap plugs.
- Tighten to 13 Nm (115 lb-in).
