Pinpoint Test D: A Single Power Window is Inoperative - LH Rear

Refer to Wiring Diagram Set 100, Power Windows for schematic and connector information. Diagrams By Number

Normal Operation

Under normal operation, the LH rear window control switch receives voltage from the LH front window control switch through circuit CPW14 (VT/WH) when the window lock switch is set to the UNLOCK position. The LH rear window control switch transfers voltage to the LH rear window motor through circuit CPW21 (BN) and ground through CPW22 (GN/VT) to operate the LH rear window downward. To move the LH rear window upward, the LH rear window control switch transfers voltage through circuit CPW22 (GN/VT) and ground through CPW21 (BN).

When operating the LH rear window from the LH front window control switch, voltage is sent to the LH rear window control switch through circuit CPW15 (YE) and ground through CPW16 (BU/OG) to operate the LH rear window downward. To move the LH rear window upward, the LH front window control switch provides voltage through circuit CPW16 (BU/OG) and ground through CPW15 (YE).

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- LH front window control switch
- LH rear window control switch
- LH rear window motor
