Removal and Installation

1. Remove the rear speaker.

2. Position the water shield aside.

3. Remove 3 upper rear door latch screws.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).

4. Remove 3 lower rear door latch screws.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).

5. NOTICE: When drilling out the latch remote control rivets, do not oversize the holes in the door sheet metal. Make sure not to exceed a 6.35 mm (0.25 in) drill bit.

Remove the rear door latch remote control.

1. Disconnect the actuating rods.

2. Remove the rivets.

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
