Seat Cushion Cover - Second Row, 40 Percent

Removal and Installation

Power-fold seat

1. Remove the seat. For additional information, refer to Seat - Second Row Seat - Second Row.

2. Release the clip, separate the strut and the cushion trim cover hook-and-loop strips.





Manual-fold seat

3. Place the seat in the E-Z entry position.

All seats

4. Release the outer and inner J-clips at the rear of the cushion trim cover.

5. Release the cushion trim cover from the flex mat.

1. Take the 4 cushion trim cover retainers out from under the second flex mat wire (1 shown).

2. Separate the 4 cushion trim cover retainers from the third flex mat wire.





Power fold seat

6. From under the seat, release the cushion trim cover retainer from the outboard and inboard cushion frame.
- Pull the inboard and outboard cushion trim cover retainers out from between the seat track and the cushion frame.





All seats

7. Manually lock the inboard seat-to-floor latch and raise the backrest.

8. Invert and remove the cushion trim cover from the cushion foam pad.
- If equipped, route the bottom trim cover flap through the seat track adjust handle.

- Remove the hog rings.

- Carefully route the cushion trim cover rear flap from between the backrest and cushion.

9. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Make sure the lower anchor and tether for children wires at the rear of the cushion frame are positioned through the cushion trim cover and accessible for use after installation.
