Shift Cable: Adjustments

Gearshift Cable Adjustment

1. NOTE: Make sure that the gearshift lever is in the NEUTRAL position. Apply the parking brake.

Release the lock tab on the selector cable.

2. NOTE: By placing the shift lever into 4th gear, it locks the small lever into the NEUTRAL position.

Move the gear shift lever into the 4th gear position.

3. Depress the lock tab on the selector cable, setting the cable adjustment to the small lever.
