Flexplate

Removal

1. Remove the transmission. For additional information, refer to Automatic Transmission/Transaxle &/or Transmission Control Systems.

2. Remove the 6 bolts and the flexplate.

Installation

1. Install the flexplate and the 6 bolts. Tighten the bolts in 2 stages in the sequence shown.
- Stage 1: Tighten to 20 Nm (177 lb-in).

- Stage 2: Tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).
