Fuel Injection Pressure Regulator (IPR) Valve













Removal and Installation

1. Remove the engine cover.

2. Disconnect the wiring harness from the oil filter tube bracket. Loosen the retaining nut and position the oil tube clamp aside.





3. Remove the 3 bolts and position aside the rear heat shield.
- To install, tighten the large bolt to 49 Nm (36 lb-ft) and the small bolts to 11 Nm (97 lb-in).





4. NOTE: It will be necessary to position back or remove the heat insulating wrap.

Disconnect the Fuel Injection Pressure Regulator (IPR) valve electrical connector.





5. Using the Injector Pressure Regulator Socket, remove the IPR valve.
- Remove and discard the O-ring seals.

- To install, tighten to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).





6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Install new O-ring seals.
