Fuel Tank Protection Bracket

Removal and Installation

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Vehicle Jacking and Lifting.

2. Index-mark the location of the fuel tank protection bracket on the frame prior to removal.

3. Remove the fuel tank protection bracket.
- Remove the fuel tank protection bracket bolts.
- To install, tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

- Remove the fuel tank protection bracket.





4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
