Air Cleaner

Air Cleaner - 4.6L, 5.4L and 6.8L

Removal and Installation

1. Detach the Air Cleaner (ACL) inlet from the plastic seal on the radiator support.

2. Loosen the ACL cover-to-ACL outlet pipe clamp. Remove the ACL outlet pipe from the ACL cover.
- To install, tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb-in).

3. Remove the 6 pushpins and the upper air deflector.

4. Remove the 4 ACL cover bolts at the cowl and the radiator support.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).

5. Reposition the ACL and disconnect the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector. Remove the ACL.

6. NOTE: Install the ACL bolts at the cowl first to aid in alignment of the ACL.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
