Door

Removal and Installation

Front Door

NOTE: Front LH door shown, front RH door similar.










Rear Door

NOTE: Rear LH door shown, rear RH door similar.










NOTE: Front LH door shown, all other doors similar.

1. Disconnect the battery cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.

2. Remove the door check arm-to-body bolt.
- To install, tighten to 20 Nm (177 lb-in).





3. NOTE: The electrical connector has a lever that must be disengaged before the connector can be removed from the body.

Disconnect the door-to-body electrical connector.

- Disengage the door-to-body electrical connector lever.

- Disconnect the electrical connector from the body.





4. Remove the 2 upper hinge-to-door bolts.
- To install, tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).





5. NOTE: The next step requires the assistance of another technician.

Remove the 2 lower hinge-to-door bolts.

- To install, tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).

- Remove the door.





6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Check the alignment of the door. For additional information, refer to Door Alignment - Front Door Alignment - Front or Door Alignment - Rear Adjustments.
