Door Glass Top Run - Front

Removal and Installation

NOTE: The power window regulator motor must be initialized whenever the LF/RF (Navigator) or LF (Expedition) motor is removed from the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Window Motor Initialization Testing and Inspection.

1. Remove the front door window glass. For additional information, refer to Window Glass - Front Door Window Glass - Front Door.

2. Remove the inside glass weatherstrip.





3. Remove the front door glass channel bolt and front door glass top run.
- To install, tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb-in).





4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- The power window regulator motor must be initialized whenever the LF/RF (Navigator) or LF (Expedition) motor is removed from the vehicle. For additional information, refer to Window Motor Initialization Testing and Inspection.
