Pinpoint Test T: The O/D OFF Indicator Is Never/Always On

Normal Operation

The Overdrive (O/D) off function is controlled by the O/D off switch located on the shifter assembly. The O/D off status is transmitted to the Instrument Cluster (IC) from the PCM (4.0L engine), or the Transmission Control Module (TCM) (4.6L engine) over the High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN).

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:

- TCM (4.6L engine)
- PCM (4.0L engine)
- IC
