Fender Splash Shield

Removal and Installation

Both shields

1. If equipped, remove the fender moulding. For additional information, refer to Auxiliary Step / Running Board.

LH splash shield

2. Open the hood and remove the 5 wiring harness pushpins attached to the splash shield in the engine compartment.

3. Remove the 3 splash shield pushpins and the 5 splash shield screws.

4. Partially lower the splash shield and remove the 2 air box deflector pushpins from the engine side of the splash shield.

RH splash shield

5. Remove the 4 wiring harness pushpins attached to the splash shield in the engine compartment.

6. Remove the 3 splash shield pushpins and the 5 splash shield screws.

Both splash shields

7. Remove the splash shield.

8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
