Removal - Transaxle

Transaxle

1. NOTICE: Do not drain the oil when removing the engine to service the transaxle.

NOTE: Inspect the plug and washer for damage and install a new plug if necessary.
To remove the transaxle, follow the engine removal procedure. For additional information, refer to Engine. Before removing the engine and transaxle from the vehicle, remove the drain plug and drain the transmission fluid.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
