Removal and Replacement




Flexplate

Removal

1. Remove the transmission. For additional information, refer to Automatic Transaxle/Transmission - 4R70E/4R75E Removal or Automatic Transaxle/Transmission - TorqShift(R) Removal.

2. Remove the 8 bolts and the flexplate.

Installation

1. Install the flexplate and the 8 bolts. Tighten the bolts in 2 stages in the sequence shown.
- Stage 1: Tighten to 20 Nm (177 lb-in).

- Stage 2: Tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).
