Removal and Installation

1. Remove the instrument cluster finish panel. For additional information, refer to Instrument Panel and Console Instrument Cluster Finish Panel.

2. Disconnect the Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable and port-to-bezel connector.

3. Remove the USB cable and port.
- Disconnect the USB cable from the Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM).

- Cut the USB port and cable ends and secure them to prevent Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) concerns.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Secure the new USB port and cable as necessary, to prevent NVH concerns.
