Liftgate Latch - Power

Removal

1. Remove the liftgate trim panel. REFER to Liftgate Trim Panel Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the liftgate latch electrical connector.

3. Remove the 2 liftgate door handle moulding bolts.





4. Disconnect the liftgate release switch.

5. Depress the 2 tabs and remove the liftgate door handle moulding.





6. Remove the 4 liftgate latch bolts and the liftgate latch.

- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
