Compressor to Condenser Discharge Line - 3.5L Ti-VCT

Removal
1. Recover the refrigerant. REFER to Air Conditioning (AC) System Recovery, Evacuation, and Charging Air Conditioning (AC) System Recovery, Evacuation, and Charging.
2. Remove the rear A/C compressor bolt.
3. Remove the A/C compressor discharge fitting nut and disconnect the fitting.
- Discard the O-ring seal and gasket seal.
4. Disconnect the A/C pressure transducer electrical connector.
5. Remove the condenser inlet fitting nut and disconnect the fitting.
- Discard the O-ring seal and gasket seal.
6. Remove the compressor-to-condenser discharge line.
Installation
1. Install the compressor-to-condenser discharge line.
2. Using a new O-ring seal, connect the condenser inlet fitting and install the nut.
- Tighten to 15 Nm (133 lb-in).
3. Connect the A/C (Air Conditioning) pressure transducer electrical connector.
4. Using a new O-ring seal, connect the A/C (Air Conditioning) compressor discharge fitting and install the nut.
- Tighten to 15 Nm (133 lb-in).
5. Install the rear A/C (Air Conditioning) compressor bolt.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
6. Recharge the A/C (Air Conditioning) system. REFER to Air Conditioning (AC) System Recovery, Evacuation, and Charging Air Conditioning (AC) System Recovery, Evacuation, and Charging.
